In this role, you will:
- Design, build, deploy, and operate backend services across the full lifecycle, from system design and implementation to production support and iteration.
- Turn customer problems into secure, tested, observable, documented and maintainable backend solutions.
- Own service quality end to end, including incident response, reliability improvements and ongoing architectural evolution.
- Contribute to technical solution design, code reviews and engineering standards that raise quality across the team.
- Collaborate directly with internal and external customers to understand goals, pain points and real-world usage feedback.
You will thrive if:
- You have deep backend engineering experience, including service design, API design, data modelling, concurrency and performance optimization.
- You have worked with distributed systems in production and understand scale, resilience and failure handling.
- You are comfortable with Go or can ramp up quickly from another backend language with strong engineering fundamentals.
- You can contribute beyond the backend when needed, including adjacent frontend or data-related tasks.
- You use AI-assisted development tools effectively and apply strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated code and technical trade-offs.
