Join a large enterprise organization's technical operations automation effort as a hands-on AI architect — split roughly evenly between architecture work and hands-on AI/agent development — building the AI capability that sits on top of the organization's Google Cloud platform.

In this role, you will:
- Define the architecture for how AI capability gets built on top of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), the organization's central platform for data and most of its AI tooling, following a newly formed strategy for what to build.
- Split your time roughly 50/50 between architecture and hands-on AI development work (including building agents), rather than working in a purely architecture capacity.
- Build AI/agentic solutions focused on operational automation and productivity in a technical operations function — for example, an existing production pilot that crunches and analyzes large volumes of support-ticket data, flagging missing information or issues before a ticket reaches an engineer, so problems get caught earlier in the process.
- Work closely with operations engineers and other internal specialists, translating a technical, terminology-heavy domain into AI solutions — deep domain knowledge isn't required of you, since that expertise comes from the existing team; what matters is being able to connect the dots.
- Use tools including Claude, GitHub, Gemini/Antigravity, and Google Vertex AI as part of the AI development workflow.
You will thrive if:
- You're a senior, hands-on AI architect/developer — someone who can both set direction and actually build.
- Prior GCP experience is valued but not an absolute requirement if you have strong equivalent experience on another major cloud platform.
- You have some familiarity with networking and security concepts generally — a plus, not a requirement, since the terminology shows up constantly in this domain, but the deep domain expertise will come from the existing team.
- Claude experience is a plus, along with comfort working with GitHub, Gemini/Antigravity, and Google Vertex AI.
- You're fluent in English; Finnish is strongly preferred
- You're comfortable with a hybrid setup, averaging about 3 days/week on-site in Helsinki or Tampere office
This assignment supports a large enterprise organization's technical operations automation and AI capability build-out on GCP. It's expected to start as soon as possible and run from the start date through the end of next year 2027, hybrid at full-time allocation.
