On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced MES Consultant / Manufacturing IT Specialist to join key digitalization and production optimization initiatives within the process industry.

Key qualifications & expertise:
- Process industry insight: Solid domain knowledge of the process industry, with a particular focus on the pulp and paper sector.
- MES & production management systems: Strong technical and functional expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and production control/planning environments.
- Consulting & Solution Definition: Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution specification, and working closely with business stakeholders and client interfaces.
Role overview:
In this role, you will act as a bridge between production operations and modern IT/OT solutions. You will translate complex operational needs into clear functional and technical MES specifications, advising the client throughout project lifecycles from initial scoping to implementation.
