We are looking for a result-oriented individual to drive production data architecture and data platform development forward together with our client.
The position requires excellent communication skills to build the future architecture together with various internal and external partners often via use cases. The focus is on production data platforms, and you will cover both information and data architecture domains. You have relevant technical background for data architectures and integration methodologies combined with hands-on experience from enterprise-scale industrial environments.

The focus is on production data platforms, and you will cover both information and data architecture domains. You have relevant technical background for data architectures and integration methodologies combined with hands-on experience from enterprise-scale industrial environments.
Main responsibilities:
- Data architecture & integrations: Design and develop information and data architecture for production data platforms, including topical items such as data models, data capture, database models, data flows, data pipelines and data integration strategies. Ensure that the data architecture enables lasting value across diverse functional domains.
- Data governance: Support definition and implementation of data governance policies and standards in the production data platform to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Alignment with overall data architecture and information governance: Ensure that production data architectures are aligned with overall enterprise level concepts and enterprise architecture.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, maintenance, planning & scheduling, and order fulfilment, as well as with various IT&OT teams, solution architects and data engineers to understand business needs and to identify opportunities to leverage data for new insights and continuous improvement. Bring a change management perspective to find the right balance between existing capabilities and setting the future direction. Participate in use case definition and execution.
- Technical leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to production digitalization governance, other stakeholders and IT teams involved in design, phasing and prioritization recommendation.
Requirements:
- Experience with data architectures in the production domain (preferably on enterprise context), with proven hands-on experience delivering solutions in this area.
- Innovative mindset with a strong ability to understand and apply modern data technologies (e.g. MS Fabric, IBA or similar) in a business-relevant way.
- Strong resilience to face differing opinions and collaborate to find a common direction.
- Ability to navigate established environments while understanding business priorities and translating them into practical solutions.
- Fluent English, Finnish is a plus.
This position will require occasional traveling between different sites.
