Job Description
The company is running a major restructuring programme that affects its IT landscape, vendor base and contracts. To support the programme, the IT sourcing team needs one or possibly two experienced professionals who can take ownership of sourcing activities and drive them forward independently.
You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders as well as external vendors. The work combines strategic sourcing with hands-on contract work: you need to see the big picture across multiple vendor relationships and also dive into the details when needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing in restructuring: Plan and execute IT sourcing activities related to the restructuring programme, such as reviewing, renegotiating, splitting or transferring IT vendor contracts and licences.
- Vendor management: Act as the main contact towards IT vendors and drive negotiations to commercially sound outcomes.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal IT, business, legal and finance stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing decisions with programme goals.
- Analysis and decision support: Analyse contracts, costs and dependencies, identify what is relevant, and prepare clear recommendations for decision-makers.
- Reporting: Communicate progress, risks and results clearly, including presentations to management.
Requirements
- IT sourcing: 5+ years of experience in IT sourcing, working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Restructuring: Proven success in a procurement role within significant corporate restructuring programmes, such as divestments, demergers, carve-outs or mergers.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and influencing skills, as well as good communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset: Ability to manage large entities and to dive deep into details when necessary.
- Working style: Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, proactive and forward-looking, with the ability to deliver results also in challenging and adverse situations.
- Language: Fluent spoken and written English.

- Positions: The need is for at least one, possibly two, consultants.
- Location: Hybrid work at one of the company’s sites in Southern or Central Finland.
