On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (FO) Architect to take a key architect and solution owner role in an upcoming transformation from Microsoft Dynamics AX to D365 Finance & Operations, with a strong focus on Finance.
The architect will act as the solution owner, defining not only what the solution should look like during the project, but also shaping the long‑term ownership and operating model once the project is completed. This role requires a holistic architectural mindset, covering solution scope, responsibilities, and the future-state “ownership territory” of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as D365 FO Architect and Solution Owner
- Define end‑to‑end solution architecture for the AX → D365 FO transition (Finance focus)
- Advise on what the solution can and should be, both during and after the project
- Shape the post‑project operating model, ownership structure, and architectural responsibilities
- Ensure alignment between business needs, platform capabilities, and long‑term strategy
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT, and project delivery teams
Requirements
- Strong experience with D365 Finance & Operations, particularly finance
- Proven background in solution architecture and solution ownership
- Ability to take a strategic view beyond project delivery into steady‑state operations
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capability
- Fluent English (mandatory)
