Join a consulting engagement helping a large enterprise's internal software development organization choose, configure, and roll out the right AI-assisted development tooling across roughly 80 developers working in Java and TypeScript across mobile, web, backend, and infrastructure teams.

In this role, you will:
- Assess the organization's current AI tooling (GitHub Copilot) against its real needs — including its limits, such as restricted model choice and tight coupling to the GitHub ecosystem — and recommend what should replace or complement it, for example an AWS Bedrock-based backend with a custom harness/tooling layer on top.
- Bring outside experience on how a multi-model, enterprise-grade AI development tooling should be architected and governed, building on the background research the team has already done internally.
- Keep a forward view of what developers want and need now versus six months out, so the chosen setup doesn't fall behind quickly.
- Make sure the recommended setup satisfies the organization's security and governance requirements.
- Support rollout to developers once a direction is set — at minimum clear usage guidance, onboarding support, and follow-up as adoption progresses.
- Work across a tooling intended to serve the whole software development organization, not just one team or language stack.
You will thrive if:
- You have hands-on, current experience evaluating and standing up AI-assisted development tooling at scale — GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, AWS Bedrock-based setups, or comparable stacks — and understand the trade-offs around model access, vendor lock-in, and governance.
- You can operate consultatively at first — advising on direction and architecture — and then help translate that into a practical rollout: guidance, workshops, and developer support.
- You're comfortable balancing enterprise security/governance requirements with developer experience and adoption.
- You can work independently and reach a recommendation efficiently, building on research the client has already started rather than starting from zero.
- You're available to start relatively soon for an engagement expected to run roughly 2–3 months plus a follow-up/support period, at around 50% allocation — full-time is not required.
- English is required, Finnish is a big plus.
