We are looking for an experienced AI Platform Architect for our globally operating industrial client to help design and build a unified, modular AI service platform that brings together agent-based solutions from across the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with the client's data leadership and development teams to understand business needs, define architectural decisions, and accelerate the buildout of shared AI capabilities. You will be the dedicated driver of a platform that is already in motion—bringing focus and momentum to an initiative that spans multiple teams and use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve a modular AI service architecture on AWS, integrating agents, MCPs, and reusable skills into a unified registry accessible across teams
- Lead architectural decisions around AI and generative AI, with a focus on shared capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple projects
- Define and implement data management patterns—covering API-backed, S3-hosted, and semantic layer scenarios—based on the specific use case at hand
- Build out platform-level capabilities such as evaluation frameworks and agent observability tooling as reusable services
- Ensure visibility and governance across existing and new agent services, consolidating what has already been built into a coherent platform
- Collaborate with data leaders and experienced developers who serve as technical anchors on the project
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AI system architecture, including agentic systems and GenAI solutions
- Solid AWS expertise, including designing and hosting AI services in cloud environments
- Experience building shared platforms or internal developer tooling for AI/ML use cases
- Ability to work independently and drive a project forward as a dedicated, full-time resource
- Strong communication skills for working across technical teams and with stakeholder leadership
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar agent orchestration patterns
- Experience with evaluation frameworks or AI observability tooling
- Background in enterprise architecture or platform engineering in a large-scale organization
