Technical Product Owner
Regulated Ordering Platform
We’re looking for a technically minded Product Owner for the development of a complex ordering platform in a regulated, workflow-heavy domain. You’ll make sure that both engineers and AI agents have clear, unambiguous requirements to build from.

The assignment:
- Own the backlog and ensure every item is sprint-ready
- Write acceptance criteria in Given/When/Then format and keep requirements traceable from Jira and Confluence to code and tests
- Resolve open questions in specs and make scope decisions
- Take part in reviews to verify that what was built matches what was intended
- Analyse root causes of defects and use the findings to improve the process
- Use AI tools to draft, challenge and review specs, and validate their output
- Work with engineering and QA on forecasting and delivery
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on complex B2B platforms
- Technical background (former developer or engineering degree) and the ability to read code, API contracts and CI results
- Strong experience with BDD/Gherkin and requirements traceability
- Daily use of AI tools and a clear sense of their strengths and limitations
- Confidence to say no and to document decisions
Nice to have: Experience in healthcare, diagnostics or other regulated domains, and in replacing legacy systems
