We are looking for a Codesys Consultant to join a project focused on modernizing an existing industrial automation system.

You will analyze and document a legacy software environment, define system functionality together with technical experts, and migrate the solution to a CODESYS-based platform. The role also includes testing, validation, and close collaboration with software, electrical, and test engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience with CODESYS programming
- Background in PLC or industrial automation projects
- Ability to understand and analyze existing software and control logic
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating technical documentation
- Fluent English; Finnish is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience with CAN, Modbus, Profibus, or similar industrial communication protocols
Project Details
- Duration: ~6 months
- Start: October or by agreement
- Hybrid work model available
- More onsite presence required during the testing phase
The most important factor is not years of CODESYS experience, but the ability to understand a legacy system, create technical specifications, and independently deliver a solution in a new environment.
