We are looking for an experienced Optimization Engineer with a strong background in combinatorial optimization and performance-critical software development.

What you will be doing
- You will design and develop heuristic optimization algorithms for a large-scale platform using Java and high-performance in-memory data technologies.
- You will contribute to expanding algorithm capabilities, improving performance, and developing robust testing and benchmarking frameworks.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data models and testing infrastructure
Requirements
- Deep mathematical knowledge, especially in combinatorial optimization.
- Strong experience in production-quality software development.
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing performance-critical software.
- Strong understanding of algorithm development—from concept and evaluation to production implementation.
- Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools
- Fluent written and spoken English, plus great communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with Java, Python, or similar languages.
As a bonus, we consider:
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or other optimization-heavy industries.
- Experience with concurrent computing and database technologies.
- Proficiency with version control tools (Git)
