We are looking for a senior backend developer to join a long-term assignment focused on building automation solutions and cloud-native services in a complex technical environment.

In this role, you will develop scalable backend solutions and automation tools that support operational processes and service provisioning. The main objective is to design and build modern cloud-native services using event-driven architectures, AI-assisted development practices, and close collaboration with domain experts.
Requirements
Requirements
- Strong senior-level backend development experience with Golang and/or Kotlin
- Proven experience designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
- Strong experience developing cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Production-level experience with Kubernetes
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) as part of daily software development
- Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to quickly learn and navigate complex technical domains
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Spanner
- Familiarity with Vertex AI
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
- Fluency in Finnish language is seen as a plus, but not required
The working model of the assignment is hybrid with 1 day per week from the client's office in Helsinki. The person selected for the role need to pass the security clearance by SUPO.
