In this role, you will:
- Design and develop electronics and embedded system solutions with a strong hands-on engineering approach.
- Contribute deep expertise in one or more areas of electronics development, with particular value placed on power electronics and communication technologies.
- Work in close collaboration with technical teams in a hybrid model, combining focused independent work with regular on-site development and lab activities.
- Use modern hardware development facilities, laboratories, and measurement equipment to support prototyping, testing, and validation.
- Help drive high-quality design decisions as a senior specialist across challenging product development work.
You will thrive if:
- You have solid senior-level experience in electronics design and embedded systems development.
- You bring practical, hands-on expertise from at least one core area of electronics engineering.
- Experience in power electronics and/or communication-related technologies will help you stand out.
- You enjoy working close to hardware, including lab environments, testing, and measurement activities.
- You are based within commuting distance of Vaasa and are comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular (at least once per week) office or lab presence.
