We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer for our client to develop an AI-driven application and its integrations, with a backend focus across the full technology stack.

The work focuses on the continued development of an AI-assisted service that supports requirements drafting and governance reviews, drawing on content from the developer portal and source code repositories. The service is built on a React/TypeScript frontend, a Go API, Python-based agent and ingestion services using Google ADK, Vertex AI, PostgreSQL/pgvector, MCP integrations, and Terraform on GCP. The main goal is to deliver prioritized features and integrations and to make the service production-ready.
Your responsibilities
- Refine and prioritize the backlog together with the product owner.
- Deliver prioritized features and integrations, such as persistent agent sessions, dynamic reasoning engine resolution, access controls, and audit attribution, and support new-project onboarding.
- Fix UI issues and build new user-facing features.
- Help establish production infrastructure and operational readiness, including backup and recovery, availability, alerting, stricter TLS and network controls, and Terraform improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development to speed up delivery while maintaining code quality and security.
Requirements
- Strong production experience in Go and/or Python.
- Experience with API and data integrations.
- Experience building AI/LLM or agent-based features.
- Experience in cloud service development, automated testing, and secure engineering.
- Strong hands-on use of AI coding tools or agents, with the ability to review and test generated code.
Nice to have
- Experience with MCP integrations.
- Experience with React/TypeScript.
- Experience with GCP, Vertex AI, or Google ADK.
- Experience with Terraform and PostgreSQL/pgvector.
- Experience with production deployment and observability.
The working model for this role is hybrid with weekly presence at the client's office in Helsinki or Tampere.
