How AI Roots helped Lumme Energia to explore data catalog solutions

Lumme Energia sells electricity reliably all over Finland and offers energy solutions, such as solar panels and monitoring services for electricity use. Lumme Energia is part of the Suur-Savon Sähkö group.

The joint journey between Lumme Energia and AI Roots began when Lumme Energia needed support to find out the possibilities of using the data catalog and whether it would work as a solution in promoting the company's internal data capabilities. In addition, Lumme Energia wanted to get an assessment of the company's data platform and architecture and to understand the internal development process and role of data and analytics in general. A suitable person for the role was found in the AI Roots network. The cooperation with AI Roots and Mikko Hemmi produced much-needed results and it can be seen that as a company they got answers to key questions related to data catalogs and a vision for the future. Lumme Energia will evaluate the transition to the implementation phase of the data catalog in more detail in the near future, and with that the cooperation with AI Roots and Mikko Hemmi could be continued.

We got ideas for our key challenges and how they can be tackled in the future. We received extensive information about the data catalog, as well as its operation and requirements. Communication was very smooth and I think we were really on the same page with Miko about where to go and what to do next. Mikko also took great care that we progressed logically and efficiently. There were no pointless meetings and we proceeded in a style that suited us. Based on the experiences accumulated so far, I can recommend AI Roots as a good partner.
