Client is looking for an experienced Embedded Developer to join a product development team working within the security technology sector.
The role involves developing reliable, high‑quality embedded software for systems used in demanding and security‑sensitive environments.

Role & Responsibilities
- Development of embedded software for security‑related products and systems
- Working with microcontrollers (e.g. STM32)
- Programming primarily in C and Python
- Participating as an expert member of a product development team
- Contributing to design decisions, implementation, and problem solving across the development lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in embedded software development
- Solid skills in C and Python
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers
- Self-directed and proactive working style
- Ability to work independently as a technical expert
Language Requirements
- English is sufficient for daily work
- Finnish language skills are considered a plus
Practical Details
- Start: ASAP / March
- Duration: Likely through the end of the year
- Initial contract until early summer
- Possible extension depending on project needs and candidate profile
- Workload:
- Estimated 100% (157.5 hours/month)
- 80% workload is also negotiable
- Location:
- Primarily on-site in Tampere
- Espoo is also an option
- Partial remote work may be discussed as the project progresses
Security Considerations
- No security clearance is required at the start
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance process later is required due to the nature of the industry
