Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities
Build and improve Android simulation support in the application layer, enabling deterministic execution of app flows using simulation packages and controlled test inputs. Improve reliability, observability, and performance in developer and CI environments, while designing maintainable app-side hooks and architecture and collaborating with test tooling and backend engineers on inputs, data boundaries, and automation integration. Also support regression testing, platform comparison, developer debugging, and the development of a testing foundation that enables safer acceleration of engineering through AI coding tools.

What we are looking for
● Strong professional experience in Android development with Kotlin.
● Solid understanding of Android app architecture, storage, networking, and lifecycle behavior.
● Experience with automated testing and CI for Android applications.
● Familiarity with building tools or app features intended for internal engineering use.
● Strong collaboration skills across product engineering, quality, and platform/tooling teams.
● Comfortable turning an emerging technical capability into something robust and widely usable.

Location: Oulu / 3 days at the office per week
