Our client operating in the defence sector is urgently looking to strengthen their QA team. The candidate search is already in its final stages, but there is still an opportunity to join the process if we move quickly.

The assignment is at least 12 months in duration with full-time allocation. The work is highly hardware-oriented, which means it is performed mainly on-site at the client’s premises in Tampere. Limited remote work is possible for tasks that can be carried out without physical presence (e.g. documentation). The client is particularly interested in experts with experience in radio technologies.

We are looking for the following expertise:

Experienced test automation specialist
Robot Framework + Python
Experience in testing HW / RF products (radio, cellular)
Basic-level understanding of hardware and low-level interfaces, such as ability to read schematic or experience with the I2C bus
Experience with the following is considered a plus:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- Cellular modems
- Basic RF understanding, for example:
  - dB and key RF parameters
  - Sine waves and Fourier transformation
  - Ability to interpret spectrum analyzer views

The role requires a basic security clearance.
