Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex international customer delivery projects!

In this role, you will take full responsibility for planning, executing, and delivering complex, end‑to‑end technical solutions spanning software components, system interfaces, and readiness for scaled production all while ensuring quality, scope, schedule, financial outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
You will act as the primary point of contact for both customers and internal teams, maintaining smooth communication, proactive risk and change management, and alignment across all parties. The position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, software, testing, sourcing, documentation, finance, logistics, and production.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor all project activities to secure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Manage customer contracts, negotiations, changes, and project financials
  • Coordinate cross‑functional internal teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Run weekly customer meetings and maintain daily communication with stakeholders
  • Oversee cost tracking, forecasting, reporting, invoicing, and contractual milestones
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure quality project documentation

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven background in projects combining hardware and software
  • Experience in contract management, negotiations, requirement management, and change management
  • Strong financial planning and budgeting skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project financial reporting
  • Proficiency in project scheduling (MS Project preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
  • Excellent English skills (French, Italian or Spanish is considered a plus)
  • Experience with risk management

Working Environment
You will join a skilled PMO team and collaborate daily with hardware/software development, testing, manufacturing, product management, finance, documentation, sourcing, logistics, and service teams. Projects are international and highly safety‑critical, offering exposure to demanding engineering environments. 

Location
  • Preferred: Tampere, Finland (other locations possible but regular on‑site presence in Tampere required)
